Close account

Closing your account is permanent. Read this page carefully before proceeding so you understand account closure, deletion review, and lawful data retention.

This action is permanent

Closing your account schedules it for permanent closure after 30 days. Some records may still be retained where required or permitted for legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, audit, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, security, provider, or law-enforcement purposes.

What happens when you close your account

Account closure is not instant. When you submit a deletion request, your account enters a 30-day grace period. During this time, your account is deactivated but the deletion review is not yet final.

If you change your mind within those 30 days, you can contact our support team to reactivate your account. After 30 days, account closure is final and access to RutoWallet services may be permanently disabled.
